Yoezerling Higher Secondary School

Olathang, Paro

"Your Excellence School" - YES!

About Us

The school had a humble beginning in 2009 with 80 students in two streams of Commerce and Arts and 8 teachers. Such a humble beginning, to some extent, was more out of design than by default as the school intended to take its first initial step very cautiously, and progress at a pace that will enable the school to evolve with time. With such intention, the school started with admission of only class XI so that school could start from the very base, and work toward nurturing and grooming the students under our care.

With the hard work and dedication of both students and staff, and the trust and faith reposed in us by the community, the year 2010 witnessed growth as follows:

  • Students’ strength rose to 360 despite our stringent admission criteria
  • The number of teaching staff increased to 20 and support staff to 10
  • Launch of Continuing Education for class XI Arts and Commerce with 32 learners
  • Launch of small boarding facilities accommodating 110 students upon popular demand by parents/guardians during the precious year.

As of 2011, the school has the following statistics :

  • Total regular students : 452
  • Total Continuining Education learners : 62
  • Total teaching staff : 21
  • Total support staff : 10
